Santa Cruz Pride is the largest LGBTQ+ event on California’s Central Coast—and the third oldest annual Pride Parade and Festival in the state. Each year, it draws over 7,000 participants in a vibrant celebration of love, identity, and community.

Founded in 1975, Santa Cruz Pride was one of the first Pride events in a smaller city, following the trailblazing celebrations in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. For five decades, we’ve remained committed to visibility, storytelling, and the fight for full equality.
